[Design of JBoss jBPM] - console build scripts

i'm going to start with creating the suite package. first thing i need to solve for that is getting the console to work again. it seems there are still some build scripts missing after the project restructuring. especially i'm missing clear instructions on how to download, install jboss and how to build a jbpm configuration on that jboss instance for the console. i'll try to fix this and see where i end up. I am working on a project which is using portal. I want to use servlets as well I made my servlet, I edit web.xml the same way we used to do with the projects which are not using servlets. But I was not able to call that servlet. forms.xml is new since 3.2. It was not needed in 3.1 In a kind of real life situation, there is a lot of overlap in the variables used in different task, with a major difference. The 'read', 'required' and 'write' differ. So I always use task-local copies. That is nice to for auditing (but that might be read from the logs as well) for designing the .xhtml files, I currently use exadel (free version) in addition to eclipse/wtp/gpd. We should not try to build an editor ourselves. I have some ideas on how to do things (e.g. generate beans for tasks so it is not needed to have things like "taskVariable['variableName']" but task1.variableName or process1.variableName2. Code completion then works in jsf editors, but these beans have to be put in a faces.config file (maybe a jsf editor can be augmented by reading aspects, that would be nice). JIRA http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBAS-3513 is a request from a partner to only log a WARN instead of an ERROR if a webapp with the distributable tag is deployed in a non-clustered environment. This allows the exact same webapp to be deployed in clustered or non-clustered environments without generating an ERROR log. The downside of course is if the environment was meant to clustered and there was some problem, they'd only get a WARN. Either way, the app deploys using the non-clustered session manager. So this is just an issue of logging levels. I'm about a +0.5 on this. They are pushing for this for 4.0.5 as that's what they'll integrate in their product. Any objections? If not I'll go ahead and do it. generating programatically... fine, as long as there are enough id/class attributes to do some styling based on css. Templatizing this could be moved to a later version of the gpd. new structure, was my idea to, the thing is that the backing beans contain code that could be reused. Hi I have the same problem with the empty table , just trying to build a sar out of the unchanged sources in the starters-kit. The sources in the starters-kit are 3_BRANCH_3_1. Is there a difference in the sar that is predeployed in the starters-kit and the one selfbuild from sources?
