What is considered to be valid state when there is no ejb-jar.xml? [Design of JBossXB] - @XmlElement(defaultValue="...")

I'm not seeing an element get populated with a default value if the property has this specified, for example: | @XmlElement(defaultValue="org.jboss.ejb.plugins.lock.QueuedPessimisticEJBLock") | public void setLockingPolicy(String lockingPolicy) | { | if (lockingPolicy == null) | throw new IllegalArgumentException("Null lockingPolicy"); | this.lockingPolicy = lockingPolicy; | } | Accessing the lockPolicy value after parsing a document without a locking-policy element does not produce the indicated default value. Yes, may be. I mean, I think our documentation lacks this and we should somehow have the user acquire this knowledge in the right way. Our wiki is suitable for this kind of communication and we could nevertheless cite or link WikiPedia if it 100% suits what we need. WikiPedia has good contents and will of course be useful, we just need to give the right direction, to draw our "official" line. If we're going to use the jboss_5_0.xsd for multiple EJB versions, then we must redo the restriction. I don't know the origin of the restriction itself, I would rather restrict it to 5.0 (the product version). You will also need a org.jboss.virtual.protocol.vfsmemory.Handler class to be able to use vfsmemory: type of URLs in the classpaths. By the way, I see that the org.jboss.virtual.protocol.vfs is a vfs: url protocol handler for the assembly stuff. For a deployment, you would create a root entry for the corresponding /aop-domain/classes if it does not exist, probably in the MemoryContextFactory. You would then just add a vfsmemory:/aop-domain/classes url to the classpath metadata to this location to the classpath. Hi, I have solved the problem by providing appropriate arguments in run.sh startup script. now i am able to detect Process ID, but i am unable to see any activity going on, is there any need to turn on JBoss-Profiler logging etc? how can i start/stop logging process? thanks for your reply. Login security data needed: username, password, client IP Adress One custmized loginModule named XYZLoginModule has been created, here is what I am thinking: 1. collect the userid, password, and client ip address via new PassiveCallbackHandler(userid, password, clientIP) ; Then pass the callbackhandler to LoginContext via new LoginContext(config, passiveCallbackHandler). 2. per step 1, all the code will be handled in the application code, are there a way to have the JBOSS container handle this? can somebody point out a way on how to all of these, for instance, the sample login-config, jboss.xml, web.xml, thanks in advance for any clue?
