I seem to need a URL that I can write to. I am currently just loading the generated classes directly with the classloader, which works for most things apart from fetching in the generated parent classes from a child domain. This ends up going through the parent domain and calling getResource () on the classloaders belonging to the domain. Since the class files are never written out the class can never be found. If I were to add a "dynamic" url as you suggest, I still would have a problem of being able to get hold of it for a given classloader since we don't really have a way to access the underlying classpath? Did you build from the deployers-impl directory? If so, maven doesn't have a way to know where the managed module is located, so it tries to download it instead. If you build from the parent directory (aggregator) then it should be able to find the classes directory of the sibling modules. Or if you just rebuild (install) the managed project, then it will get it from the local repository. For instance, when I wrote about the terminology I was thinking about something like -of course I'm over simplifying here- "ok, the service provider publish a service contract describing what it can do; this is written in WSDL, etc". What are we going to do? Speaking of samples, we think to provide meaningful advanced samples. These might cover the testcases I spoke about in the productivity introduction http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=121127, supporting tutorials in the documentation on advanced topics like security, attachments, addressing, etc. At the same time, we might focus on tools supporting the development phase of webservices. I'm thinking about a way to easily generate tests (JUnit or TestNG) for the users' services in a given project as far as an Eclipse project configuration with an Ant build file to run them all. Once users have a productive environment set up, they can start coping with their own business problems. Real world issues are usually more complex than our current samples. Hi Alessio, Maybe one could also provide soapUI projects/testsuites/testcases for all these samples (once we get the soapui-plugin back in the build)? Since all request/response messages can be viewed in the UI it probably makes understanding/experimenting with them even easier for a ws-newbie.. (as a complement to java-based tests of course)..
