Initially it's likely we will use the transport layer from QPid to implement our NIO transport, and keep remoting 2.x really just to implement the HTTP transport. This layer is based on MINA and implements another layer of abstraction that allows you to specify your protocol and it handles the request/response correlation and all that kind of stuff. Also, apparently we are bringing on Trustin Lee, the author of Apache MINA into JBoss. This is great news, and I imagine this means remoting 3 is going to based on MINA principles and technology. This means in the mid-long term we can go back to using remoting 3 when it is out, however I doubt whether this will be in the timescales we need. Luckiy though everything will be based on MINA so the transition won't be so bad. I have renamed 1.2.0.SP2 to 1.3.0, and 1.2.1 to 1.4.0 to better reflect the JBoss versioning guidelines. SP2 contains new functionality and therefore doesn't qualify as an SP. Also, point releases need to maintain compatiblity with previous releases hence these releases are minor releases. Apart from that they're exactly the same. i don't think that is a general constraint. i mean, most of the times, a user will only have 1 membership, but i guess that sometimes people can fullfill 2 roles for one group. I meant to say that any given user cannot be in the same group more than once. Though a single group can certainly contain more than one user. Hi guys, We are currently trying to deploy a process into jBPM 3.2 GA over WebLogic 9.2 SA and we are encountering the following exception. The process definition (processdefinition.xml) is a simple node with an async state. We can't find this class JmsMessageServiceFactoryImpl. I've completed the testing of the JBossXB parser using JAXB annotations. This should remove a lot of code from the MIcrocontainer project, in particular most of the code that sets up the xml parsing. It also allows for much cleaner implementations, e.g. the javabean parsing https://svn.jboss.org/repos/common/jbossxb-builder/trunk/src/test/java/or... can now be implemented as an annotated factory The MC xml only requires three additional classes to parse the "simple types" that don't have property editors (cardinality, controllermode and controllerstate) e.g. https://svn.jboss.org/repos/common/jbossxb-builder/trunk/src/test/java/or... the rest is just annotations, even the polymorphism :-) https://svn.jboss.org/repos/common/jbossxb-builder/trunk/src/test/java/or... I closed the feature request since it is a stupid idea. The MDB cannot control the message handling, all it can do is rollback the transaction. Once that is done, it no longer controls the message.
