How do you deal with backport concurrent library ? It's a pain to maintain 2 source trees and using the backport library in 4.2 isn't that great neither. It looks like the FacesContextFactory should be com.sun.faces.portlet.FacesContextFactoryImpl instead of com.sun.faces.context.FacesContextFactoryImpl. The trunk now contains the integration of patches needed to make 2.6 run Out-of-the-box on JBoss AS 4.2. Now, the deployment works just fine, but there seems to be some application level issues that occur when running the Portal Management Application. [Design of Persistence on JBoss] - Multi-Datasource Hibernate

I'm a java developer that hasn't been in the mix for a while, and I've been recently looking at Hibernate together with the Spring framework. Does anybody know if its possible to have multiple datasources while using Hibernate. [Design of JBoss ESB] - Design Approach for Potentail JBossESB app...

The business needs a Java API exposed interface to create and lookup records in a 3rd party system. I have developed a simple Java wrapper to talk to this 3rd party system. I'd now like to make it available to the enterprise. Is the best approach to make this a web service? Would I need to put it on the ESB ONLY if several business systems need to know that "something" happened with this 3rd party app? I'm thinking I don't need to use the ESB for this purpose.. but I really want to, b/c its cool... Need more understanding on when/when not to use the ESB. Are there docs related to different problem scenarios and best practices to solve them using JBossESB.
