[Design of JBoss Build System] - Re: Trying to release jboss-ejb3-cache

by wolfc

I don't like this at all. I would rather see: tags/0.11.0.Beta1/ejb3-cache/ than: tags/jboss-ejb3-cache-0.11.0.Beta1/ Shall I continue? IMHO the release plugin should copy the remote directory and not the working directory. Anyway: [INFO] Unable to tag SCM | Provider message: | The svn tag command failed. | Command output: | svn: Commit failed (details follow): | svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/repos/jbossas/projects/ejb3/tags' | svn: '/repos/jbossas/projects/ejb3/tags' path not found I've added a note to the wiki. [Design the new POJO MicroContainer] - Re: Annotating KernelDeployment with management info

by scott.stark＠jboss.org

I checked in just enough changes to allow the default AbstractManagedObjectFactory to build a ManagedObject set for a KernelDeployment. In reality the BeanDeployer should be implementing the ManagedObjectCreator.build method as the deployer has the metadata and understands things like annotation overrides. Its not clear to me that the BeanInfo beanInfo = configuration.getBeanInfo(clazz) call used by the AbstractManagedObjectFactory is going to have the beans.xml annotations/overrides applied. Would it? I already changed the method to getScoped. View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4087700#4087700 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=4087700

[Design the new POJO MicroContainer] - Re: Problem deploying bean with a property annotation

by alesj

OK, I'll add the trip attribute. Will see what we can do with a property w/o any value. View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4087680#4087680 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=4087680

I'll have a look at it, perhaps it can be changed to plain boolean. Can't remember the reason now why I put it to full Boolean. ;-) View the original post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4087679#4087679 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=4087679

[Design the new POJO MicroContainer] - Re: Serializable contract on deployer output

by alesj

Or we can just add additional check if output is not already Serializable - only then checking the actual attachment. The Boolean isScoped method of KernelDeployment needs to be changed to getScoped due to the previously discussed issue of Boolean isX not being the getter for Boolean property x. [Design the new POJO MicroContainer] - Annotating KernelDeployment with management info

by scott.stark＠jboss.org

In order to introduce managed object into KernelDeployments, the jboss-kernel project needs to depend on jboss-managed and jboss-metatype. I have updated the eclipse project and pom.xml for this and its building fine. I have not updated the KernelDeployment impl with annotations as yet because I'm still testing it.
