[Deployers on JBoss (Deployers/JBoss)] - Re: jee module's alt-dd

I am trying to make it work. I don't see how I can add an attachment in the EARStructure. Instead, I am doing this in the AppParsingDeployer. Stack, as well as container may only have a dependency on the interfaces (SPI) not the implementation (framework). The framework code is an implementation detail that may not be available in all target containers. I know this sounds academic, and probably is not true at the moment, but proper decoupling requires this IMO. [Design of JBossCache] - What are .OLD files and how to delete those files

Hi, I tried to access one web application in URL it is showing .OLD file for jSession id as https://sitedetails?;jsessionid=.OLD After invocation of this if I try to search for the files with .OLD extenssion on my machine it is not showing any thing. Means those files are tem files. I do not want to generate those files at all what settings I need to do. I have Stale helping me fix an aop bug right now. As soon as he fix it we will run the testsuite tag and upload it. I hope to get it done by monday, but I depend in how hard will be for the AOP team to fix this problem. You mean JDK's endorsed? That doesn't seem to me like a good idea. One thing is endorsed in AS - we own it. We can't say the same about JDK, it used to run different things. In addition, so far there have been no issue related to xml-apis versions. I think for future iterations of AS5, there is a possibility of providing an external library for integration, that will provide a Rules based authorization implementation for the containers. For the current iteration, I want to provide xacml. Of course xacml engine can be implemented with JBoss Rules. But I feel we should provide the opportunity of using rules directly. What I think is needed are: a) Some type of config to be picked up during deployment that will register the policies/rules etc. This can be a deployer. b) A Rules based authorization module.
