The same concept applies for interface-specific bindings. The problem is that mappedName cannot both be a base *and* the default business interface target; otherwise there will be a JNDI "NotContextException" when using it as a base. One problem I see in this is handling of ClusterPartition.NoHandlerForRPC, which is what ClusterPartition.RPCHandler returns if the requested service name isn't registered on that node. ResponseFilter impls will need to know how to deal with that, which means making the class a public top level class. For example, a ResponseFilter for HA-JNDI calls shouldn't accept a NoHandlerForRPC and then return true from needMoreResponses(). [Javassist development Forum] - Auto deployment of project

I have eclipse europa with WTP plugin. My local server is jboss 4.0.3. When ever i make changes to my java files/jsp or anything else in IDE and start the local server, my changes are not deployed into local server automatically. I am manually copy pasting from work space into server's deploy folders. Any idea what could be wrong? How to fix it? It is setting in jboss or in eclipse? config file is wrong? Thanks in advance. Again a mode is just a *view*. All you want it to do depends on the API you use, see the admin porlet for how to use the internal API (which is always per definition something that can change) for changing instance portlet preferences. Admin mode does not store portlet preferences at instance level.... So my guess is, that is no "Standard" way of changing portlet preferences at instance level ATM.... It's all per user per portlet instance.... the only possible cheap hack I could think of is to store perference values to the database or external xml and read / write them manually...... Any better suggestions? In the meantime, why don't you use the admin mode ? admin or edit_defaults (or view, help, edit), are just names of modes, what you do with those are just what you want to put in them. The issue IMO, is that the API to edit those preferences are not part of the public API this will probably not go in 2.7 for that reason.
