Is it possible that we just keep a single set of template configuration files and whoever needs a specific configuration could 'generate' it from the template? We can consider 'velocity' for that purpose. or use ant filtered copy task. What I mean here is... I found those just by reading the code. I'm sure we could find more dumb bugs like this when we start to test it. It's better we write a testsuite for this, or it's going to be really bad! First one: No tests!!!!!!!! We need to add a testsuite. I can think of using the jboss-test framework that will deploy on setup, undeploy on tearDown, and test it under a real server, same way every other project does. We need to allocate time for this. As a consequence of that, I have seen a couple of bugs: I - clientID is aways ignored. II - user and password defined on the ra.xml is aways ignored on inbound. III - I have a found one property where the property setter is just ignored. I want to keep the configs completely separate. Even if some things are the same now, such as beans files, they might not be in the future, and using a common dir just complicates things and makes them harder to change going ahead.
