You should start with the docs first http://www.jboss.org/jbosstm/docs/index.html And there is also a short wiki article on using JTS https://www.jboss.org/community/docs/DOC-13179 which was written for a later version than the one you are using but it may still be of use. The thing that resolves schemas is JBossEntityResolver. http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/common/common-core/trunk/src/main/java/org... For details you can check its resolveEntity method. You can specify schemaLocation in XML. Or make it available in the classpath. As to the META-INF, seems like a good idea, but to get to resources there using thread classloader I think you'd have to prefix the resource name with 'META-INF/'? Which JBossEntityResolver doesn't do. It tries the resource name as is first and if that failed then with prefixes 'dtd/' and 'schema/'. Another comment on the request-reply example- I don't think this is very clear still. It would be better to handle the request and send back the response using a message listener, then you can send and consume several messages without having to do everything on the same thread. Also setting the JMSCorrelationID when sending the request doesn't make sense to me. It only needs to be set when sending the response back. I went through the elements in jboss_5_1.xsd and listed those that couldn't find being used by EJB3. So I consider them EJB2 legacy and am going to remove them for metadata GA. Maybe some of them are actually used, so, please, have a look. (If some look useful but aren't used yet I'll remove them anyway. I think there shouldn't be meaningless config elements. We'll add them when they become effective) jboss - enforce-ejb-restrictions (this one has been deprecated) - exception-on-rollback (Whether to throw an exception if the transaction is marked for rollback, used in EJB2 only) - what's with jacc-context-id? (used only in ejb2? no tests in AS or EJB3?) message-driven - local-jndi-name - jndi-binding-policy - exception-on-rollback - timer-persistence (used only EJB2?) - configuration-name - invoker-bindings - security-proxy - ior-security-config (used only in EJB2?) - no tests for jndi-refs? consumer - jndi-name - local-jndi-name - jndi-binding-policy service - call-by-value (used only in EJB2) - exception-on-rollback - timer-persistence - configuration-name - invoker-bindings - security-proxy - cache-config (service is stateless? if so doesn't need a cache?) - ior-security-config session - call-by-value - exception-on-rollback - timer-persistence - configuration-name - invoker-bindings - security-proxy - ior-security-config generic-bean - call-by-value - exception-on-rollback - timer-persistence - configuration-name - invoker-bindings - security-proxy - ior-security-config Thanks. Thanks Andy. I have gone through the documentation of jboss portal. Unfortunatly, it looks like to me that the documentation doesn't mention how to implement the decoration renderer, window renderer. Could you provide me with more information how to implement renderer?
