I think instead of generating ranges, each time, and testing. We should
pre-generate a larger number of test sets and use those. Ideally those
test sets will have random intervals, instead of the regular interval
sets my current approach uses. We should probably introduce negative
numbers. Once we have a large number of data sets we can also generate
start/end points to test against these.
Atleast this way the tests are deterministic each time, and we can
simply generate more datasets and start/end points if we need to.

I have created another test with repeated deletes, checking against

isolated, added cobertura, and see that coverage is already quite
good. I'll analyze this further, to cover all nooks and crannies.
Don't start any work that duplicates my own.
Note that my original fix is to simply remove this line; Arrays.copyOf
does it all.
understood, I used System.arraycopy still as it works in jdk1.5.
public void recurse() {
if ( depth == stack.length - 1 ) {
// increase the stack if we have used up all space
// ====> simpl remove this line: stack = new int[depth * 3 ];
stack = Arrays.copyOf( stack, stack.length * 3 );
