Semantic Web Drools Module, Request for Feedbak

Hi, I'm looking for feedback, I'll develop a Semantic Web Drools Module that will be the subject of my Master Degree Tesis. The idea is to use Eclipse Modelling Framework (EMF) for prototyping and follow a Model Driven Architecture (MDA) where the source language is Semantic of Business Vocabularies and Business Rules (SBVR) and the target language is Drools DRL. The mapping could be (PIM level): - Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL) - Ontology Web Language (OWL) - RuleML - Rule Interchange Format (RIF) - REWERSE Rule Markup Language (R2ML) It could be added to the module at the source UML or Entity Relationship like models to transform the models into SBVR. How to work with Protobuf (.proto) files

All, As we started using Protobuf, it is important to know how you make changes to .proto files and how to compile them. Easiest way: 1. Download protobuf compiler from: http://code.google.com/p/protobuf/downloads/list 2. Install protobuf-dt eclipse plugin as detailed here: http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-dt/ 3. Configure the destination directory to generate the java files as detailed in step 2 here: http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-dt/wiki/IntegrationWithProtoc Set the "Java Output Directory" to: src/main/java 4. VERY IMPORTANT FOR JBPM: jBPM Flow project has a .proto file that extends the data types defined in the .proto file in Drools Core, so you need to configure the protobuf import path as detailed here: http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-dt/wiki/ImportPaths Add the following import paths to the jbpm-flow project: ${your drools-core project in eclipse}/src/main/resources ${your_drools_flow_project}/src/main/resources After doing that, when you edit and save the .proto files, eclipse will automatically compile and regenerate the java source code for them. Attach custom editor on guided decision table cell

Hi, We would like to render a custom editor when a user double-clicks on a cell that is present in web guided decision table in Guvnor 5.1 (or later). The custom editor needs to be invoked for cells that represent a particular fact model attribute only. This is somewhat similar to WS custom forms functionality available for guided business rules. So far we have seen the org.drools.guvnor.client.decisiontable.GuidedDecisionTableWidget class that contains implementation for: public void onCellDblClick(GridPanel grid, int rowIndex, int colIndex, EventObject e) in the GridCellListenerAdapter class that opens up text editor or drop down editor. We're new to GWT and Guvnor so would appreciate it if anyone can provide the high level steps. project idea - Running Guvnor SCENARIOS from regular java code

I want to capture the message from the rule file and according to some condition of failure of success i have to call DAO class. I am not knowing how to write up a condition before calling DAO. The working directory for unit tests should be module directory

HI guys, Most unit tests are working directory independent (which is a good thing), but some unit tests are forced to use the working directory to find the module or project directory, so they can: - Write a file to "MODULE_DIR/target", such as a temp file. Hint: use File.createTempFile() instead if possible. - Write a file to "MODULE_DIR/local", such as a benchmark log. That local directory isn't cleaned with "mvn clean" and isn't in git either. - Retrieve a non-classpath file. Hint: Put the file in src/test/resources and use getClass().getResource(...) instead if possible. By default, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, ... sets the working directory to the module directory. By default, Eclipse sets it to the project directory. For example: droolsjbpm/ droolsjbpm/drools = project dir (unless it's droolsjbpm in some setups) droolsjbpm/drools/drools-compiler = module dir So I suggest we do the following: - Avoid having to use the working dir in our tests - Presume that the working dir is always the module dir - if we have no other choice but to use it. -- With kind regards, Geoffrey De Smet
