1) Why have we completely change the Web GUI and disregard the role of
"Business" End user" loving Guvnor 5.5 in favor of something which is a
kind of interface for "Developer" ?
It is already accepted that the Project Explorer in 6.0 is a poor
substitute for the Asset Viewer in 5.5. A new "Navigator" for 6.0.Final is
on the table.
2) Why have we removed a lot of the features/functionality's proposed by
Guvnor 5.5 in Guvnor 6.x (import POJO ....) ?
Guvnor 6.0 follows the changes made to Drools Expert 6.0. The previous
concept of what constituted a "package" has changed completely.
This had led to a change in how POJO models need to be uploaded: previously
they just had to be on the classpath at build-/run-time; now they need to
be declared as a project dependency and uploaded to a repository.
There is a whole new API for 6.0 for developers using Drools Expert 6.0 too.
With kind regards,
Mike

Hi,
The new Guvnor Web GUI (6.x) is really disturbing for "Business end user"

Don't forget that doing this kind of change will impact existing
customers, their day to day business with such big change and we should be
backward compatible with what was proposed earlier.
