It seems that you are the only person that is opposed to this forward
progress. For that reason, I don't think this decision is a done deal, and I
am asking for real feedback, not mandates.
For those who want to see what a mess this would be, go check out the
new, broken, hibernate.
Obviously we want to avoid having any broken links. In this particular
instance, we are starting a fresh forum, so there is no risk of this. If and
when the time comes to migrate of old content, we can be careful to do it
without disruption. But that's a discussion for another day.
