[seam-dev] Doing validation in an annotation processor

The Hibernate Validator folks have implemented the interesting idea of validating annotation placement using a Java 6 processor: http://in.relation.to/14950.lace I know our strategy has been to do this kind of stuff for CDI annotations in the tooling layer, but I wonder if there is value in a processor for validating CDI and EJB annotations.
