If there isn't a clear bug report/test, not an "IT IS BROKEN"
then the problem doesn't exist AFAIC. :-)

[Design of JBoss Wiki] - Re: [[/wiki]] Exception starting filter wikiFileAccessFilter
by cgotcu
I am having the same issue. Deploying wiki beta 2 in jboss-portal-2.4.0 bundled with the AS. Please reply if we're doing something wrong or missing something.
Thank you,
Chris

[Design of JBoss jBPM] - command iteration
by tom.baeyens@jboss.com
i'm going over the commands and trying to shape them as i had in mind. i barely made it to check it in. had to uncomment quite a few things to get it working again. all messaging and async stuff is currently broken. majority of the tests should still work. (i got 17 errors)
some enterprise things that were in the making are currently not compiling because this was based on commands that have been refactored. should be not too big of a problem since those enterprise thingies were still under development.
i still want to check in so that mainly camunda can take a peek at what i have in mind.
please feel free to look at the commands and give feedback.
more development on this next week as i'll be busy for the rest of the week. i should be able to discuss this topic in between.
David, i plan to see if we can establish the command service inbetween the JSF backed beans in the webapp and the jbpm engine. It would be good if you try to go through the command pattern and see if you have remarks/objections.
It would be nice if we could base both the web console, the camunda swing client and the JON stuff all on the same CommandService...

[Design of POJO Server] - Re: Behavior with AbstractKernelController
by anil.saldhana@jboss.com
Adran says:
| The behaviour is not "inconsistent".
| In fact, it is more consistent now.
|
| In the past, invoking "start" never actually guaranteed the service started. It would only actually do the
| start() if all the dependencies were satisfied.
| Later you might actually get the start when the correct dependency is added.
|
| In fact, the code you show didn't even work properly until less than 2 years ago when I made it redirect through the service controller (under the hood in ServiceMBeanSupport).
|
| Now with the introduction of the MC,
| everything is done consistently.
|
| Your code should be (and always should have been if you want things to work properly)
|
| ServiceController.start(ObjectName);
|
| followed by
|
| ServiceController.getServiceContext(ObjectName)
|
| to check what state it is actually in,
| i.e. dependencies satisfied, the error/problem, etc.
|
| See the deployment tests, that I wrote when I was fixing all this a while ago, if you want to see the correct pattern in more detail.
