I'm currently on the EJB3 deployer. Trying to weed through and figure out how things are supposed to be done. I am looking at porting the TomcatInjectionContainer to a ObjectModelFactoryDeployer, and merging the WebDD/WebDDObjectFactory into the existing org.jboss.web.WebApplication model. I'm not clear on how the InjectionHandler implementation is going to be merged into the new vdf along with the ejb3 implementations. It seems like most of the metadat elements just need to be put into the associated DeploymentUnit attachments. How far are you along are you Bill? For those, who are interested in a version, before I give my final OK, I will wrap up the source code of the new files and post the URL where it can be downloaded. Unfortunately I have a lot of work at my job currently, so that development of test cases is not going as fast as I want to, right now. But if you don't mind, that not all test cases are finished, I can provide the necessary code base for using ajax inside the portal this weekend?! How are you executing the test? The correct way to do it is by opening a command prompt in the testsuite dir in the source code and executing: build tomcat-sso-tests For the clustered version of the test, it's build tomcat-sso-clustered-tests Substitute ./build.sh for build on a *nix system. Running the clustered tests may take some configuration on your system (e.g. it has to be multihomed it it's a Windows machine.) Nothing special should be needed for the non-clustered test. Thanks Clebert, For the forum: the problem was the options I used to start JBoss in profiler mode. I used: -XrunjbossInspector:C:\\performance\\profiler,start=org.ex.Main the 'start' parameter tells the profiler to wait for a particular class in the trace before collecting data. Given that the class I specified is not in my environment, all the data collected was ignored. I removed the option, and now it works fine. Clebert also suggested to use the option memory=false to avoid cluttering the data with memory stats, if you don't need them.
