Hello. I'm still running into problems to run satisfactory a lot of ant targets into the project. It seems there are implicit dependencies that the build scripts are not aware of. Anyway, in order to taste the CVS version, I've deployed into a running jboss the ear (from /enterprise/ear) jbpm.ear succesfully. But I'm missing the users into the database (and so, I'm not able to login into the jbpm-console included with that ear). I've found that there's information about those users into /jboss/db/src/main/resources/identities.xml, but I don't know if there's a way to automate interting that data into the DB (I'm using an oracle datasource). In the starters-kit I found it to be just a matter of configuring an hibernate.cfg file and then run some ant target to generate scripts for the given database. Yes, but the jars from the client directory isn't in the servers runtime classpath so those shouldn't have any effect? The booking structure isn't too easy to put into words, but it consists of a set of rather heavy dataholder classes (lots of class fields) and collections of similar classes multiple levels down. One thing though; don't see why serialization is involved between the ejb's, rightly they are in separate ears, but still by ref should be possible. And in the callstack it seems local interface semantics is beeing used (from: org.jboss.ejb3.remoting.IsLocalInterceptor.invoke()), so shouldn't these values be sent by reference? I'm running 4.0.4GA retrofitted with ejb3 RC8 and Seam 1.0.1x I just created an example hasingleton, i have an example.sar file that seems to be ignored if I drop it into the deploy-hasingleton dir, but seems to function if I drag it into the deploy dir. In the deploy dir it constructs, and the startSingleton method is called. I see it on the jmx-console, and start/stop work from there - but I'm not convinced I actually had an hasingleton... Did I? Haven't tested in the cluster yet. I think I need one in order to fire a message into the cluster periodically. The hasingleton w/perhaps quartz seemed like a good idea to solve this problem. Am I on the right track? How do you deploy an hasingleton? How do you KNOW its working? Was the deploy-hasingleton dir ignored? Does the farm exist? who turned it off? why? Or perhaps, the question is really - which chapter did I miss? I talked with Scott earlier today about unifying the different proxy factory approaches being used into one AOP based one (basically abstracting out the one used within ejb3 so that is usable by all the projects). Would sit on top of remoting transport, but allow for interceptor configuration (just as with any of the proxies created now). Figured would be good to start discussion in forum first and see if can work out some of the high level issues (and since would be the proxy used for jndi/hajndi, figured this topic would be a good one).
