I cannot replicate, using Firefox 3.6. Is this still occurring for you today - and what browser/version?

Don't shoot the messenger :( Hi, Firefox 3.0.x is not supported in JIRA 4.3+ because it is not maintained by Mozilla for long time (from January 2010). Seehttp://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA043/End+of+Support+Announc... for details. So user should follow Mozilla's recommendation and upgrade FF to some maintained version. Cheers Vl. Firefox version is 3.0.19. The pull-down lists worked correctly, less than a week ago; definitely 5 days ago (May 11) when I created JBRULES-3025 and had no trouble selecting "affected version" etc. The same pull-down lists work fine with other pages, e.g., Google mail.
