note: it's always been configurable.
Just not through the UI. The Maven 2 eclipse:eclipse plugin sets it to
src/main/webapp, so clearly it works by tweaking the .settings file.
When you
create the project you can set it to what you want - but yes,
it is missing for the "project is already created, what now..."
