Hello!
There is a problem with allocating human resources for Seam 2.1.2 CR2
testing. Jozef has PTO until May 20 and I have a clear order to finish
off a WFK work before starting on other stuff (specifically $subj).
Jozef did a great job on Friday with finishing initial release testing
and running one testall task while working on WFK. Still there are many
tasks that need to be done and while I might be able to do some Seam
testing, we will definitely need someone to help us doing all the
tests.
Here is what needs to be done:
- Close resolved JIRAs
- run testall on tomcat6, tomcat+jboss-embedded and jboss-4.2.3 and
preferably also on a jdk6 / JBoss-?
- seam-gen tests
- JBoss Tools manual tests
- optionally Portlet Bridge
Already done
- initial testing
- run testall on JBoss 5.0.1 / JDK 5

I have done my WFK work, so now I'm gonna do the Seam testing. It will
be done by tomorrow.

A new WFK build has bean released yesterday, so it is back in the state
where I need help. Norman offered me one (thanks a lot), but still I
think this release won't be tested as thoroughly as the previous ones.
And it won't be finished today.

Let me know what other tasks I can help with. I think the release
looks good for a CR, so I'll plan to release monday. If we do find
anything in testing, we can fix it for the final release. In the
meantime, I'd greatly appreciate it if people would take a look at the
final 2.1.2 issues. It should be almost all docs work, so if
everything looks good with CR2, we can get the final release out very
quickly afterwards and be fairly well back on track.

I'm overwhelmed by WFK work. Could you please run the seam-gen automated
tests? It's described in /src/test/ftest/seamgen/readme.txt. Test it on
icefaces/richfaces x jboss4 / jboss5 combination. Thank you very much!
