Hi Rob. The web-console is far from being done - and as I stated in the latest release notes we need people to work on it - so all your contributions in this area are most welcomed ! I have fixed the head.xhtml issue you listed - but there are a lot of other issues that needs to be fixed. I havn't completed my review of the initial code contribution - so the code will change. Feel free to submit patches (unified diff) through JIRA -- I'll get the 2.x project setup soon. And just create posts here in the forum to discuss implementation details. [Design of Messaging on JBoss (Messaging/JBoss)] - message expiry

Ive implemented a message expirer that basically iterates through each queue and expires any messages. The problem is that because I've used the iterator, which is fail fast, the method has to be synchronized on queue which is, as Tim correctly pointed out, not very scalable. An alternative would be be to use the getAll() method on the PriorityLinkedList, which basically makes a copy, and iterate through this. We would then only need to synchronize on removing any expired messages. If the message has been consumed since checking then we just ignore as the client will take care of expiring it. Another alternative would be to maintain another concurrentset of the messages and iterate over these instead. thoughts? hi, I found the link for downloading jboos-JPA-deployers-1.0.0.Beta4 here: http://repository.jboss.com/maven2/org/jboss/jpa/jboss-jpa-deployers/1.0.0 -Beta4 / i have copy this jar module to server/default/lib directory of AS, but the problem of @PersistenceContext injection from a different jar fails always ! have you some workaround to this problem ??? 1.4.1.GA release done. Several things: 1. JBoss 5 should use the destinations-service.xml from JBM release, the current jb5's destinations-service.xml don't have any destinations deployed that needed by jbm examples. 2. JBoss 5 doesn't include jms examples. But if it does, the examples are ready to run under jboss as 5 installation. I'd be surprised if the bottleneck is the network if the disk is just a normal disk. Standard network is 1 Gbit these days, but most disks write at around 30-80 MB/s = maybe 200 Mbits per sec. If you're using a SAN with a load of disks in it, and parallel writing over those, then yes you could exceed write speeds > 1Gbit. (I'm looking forward to our new JMS lab to test this out). Currently IIRC we've tested JBM writing records transactionally up to about 50MBytes/sec = 400 Mbits/sec on a cheap(ish) SCSI disk (dell workstation).
