Is there a way already to to find the Address from QueueImpl? I need to get the PageStore on ServerConsumerImpl::deliverReplicated, to lookup for references on Page case the reference was not found, and for that I need the Address used. IIRC, the comment still applies. The block commented out can be executed in the Netty I/O thread and waiting for a channel to be cleaned up there will cause a dead lock. If it just works fine without this, I think it's safe to remove the whole block. im not sure how since JavassistTypeInfoFactoryImpl.getTypeInfo(String name, ClassLoader cl) calls WeakClassCache.get(Class clazz) that again call JavassistTypeInfoFactoryImpl.instantiate(Class clazz). it is this method that creates the TypeInfo object. even though i override get(Class clazz), i wont be able to call instantiate. For the prototype, can you not subclass JavassistTypeInfoFactoryImpl to override the getTypeInfo() methods making the one taking ClassLoader+name the "main" one? Similarly, override the get() methods and other functionality from WeakClassCache, so we can sidestep the stuff in there for now. Then subclass JavassistTypeInfoFactory to instantiate your (Prototype)JavassistTypeInfoFactoryImpl.
