Well, I went to a couple of Open Social sessions in JavaOne. They are
very much into Java. :) Also, Open Social seems to be complicated
enough, with all its combination of REST calls and Javascript, that a
wrapper of some sort (JSF or deeper in Seam) will make sense.

I am adding this on my "to play with" list, but that could be a while.
Again, the creation of Seam components for this task could even
rejuvenate interested from FaceBook (not that we really give a care).
I think it is more about understanding how to crawl into new markets.
