Teiid Designer 8.3 Beta1 available

We've published our first milestone build for our next release : 8.3 Beta1
8.3 release is mainly focused on bug fixing and cleaner integration with Teiid and the JBoss server framework.
It's available via our standard downloads page ( zip and update site ).
Note that our 8.3 milestones will soon be included in the JBoss integration stack builds which are targeted for a GA release later this year.

Teiid 8.5 CR2

CR2 has been posted to the downloads: http://www.jboss.org/teiid/downloads
There have been several refinements/fixes since CR1. Please double-check any of your issues/features prior to the anticipated final release of September 16th.
Also the git master branch will be converted over to 8.6 later today so that we can get cracking on the next feature set. Any fixes should be committed to the 8.5.x branch and we will automatically pull them forward.

8.5 release and more

If there are no objections we'll shoot for a CR2 Monday rather than a final release given that quite a few changes have been made. We'll convert master over to 8.6 at that time as well. This will push the release date back to 9/16.
I'll also update the downloads page with a note that the 8.4 Embedded Kit is missing the staxwrapper jar from https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-2651
But otherwise we are looking pretty good - it's been especially helpful to have new community people go through the initial learning phase and pick up on things that have not evolved properly across releases.
