Teiid community and AS 6

Hello all,
With all of the work on 7.4 and some developer down time, we've been delayed in starting work at validation Teiid on AS 6. Given the continued progress on AS 7, our main community development focus should be on having a Teiid release ready for AS 7. If there is anyone who wants to sheppard creating an AS 6 based Teiid, just create a JIRA for it and we'll figure out the details of if a branch is needed, etc. based upon the changes needed.

7.4 Beta1

Hello all,
I am planning on Beta1 early next week. In addition to the other work since alpha2 this should incorporate the memory changes from https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-1509 and perhaps a few more ODBC fixes. The date for the release in JIRA has also been updated to a more realistic 4/28, but I would expect early May is more likely.

Hello all,
There's no blog yet - I'll save that for the beta in another week or so. There have been key ODBC fixes, support for MDX/Mondrian as a source, and much more. This release is shaping up nicely and we have integrated much early into the Designer release cycle.

Teiid 7.4 Alpha2

Hello all,
Issues came up with 7.4 Alpha1 shortly after posting, so I didn't bother creating a blog about it. I'll post a more solid Alpha2 and announcement tomorrow.
