Remove CXF for Salesforce

Hello all,
Based upon https://developer.jboss.org/message/907887, previous questions we've received on embedded dependencies, and reducing the Teiid code base we are looking at replacing CXF with just the Salesforce provided SOAP connectivity. If there is anyone using CXF specific configuration (such as for proxy username/password) for Salesforce, please reply to this with your needs so that they can be preserved if we make the switch. Assuming that everything looks feasible, we'll create an issue and target the change for 8.10.

Teiid 8.9 Target Platform

Hello all,
It has come to our attention that EAP 6.3 Alpha could be a new target for Teiid vs. EAP 6.1 Alpha1. However there are a couple of issues that need clarified, such as access to the download, before we proceed with the switch. This is contributing to the delay in the release of 8.9 as we'd prefer to be more up to date if possible. Obviously this change would require a new CR release and at least two more weeks to the final after that. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

A few extra days for CR1

Hello all,
8.9 CR1 is being delayed to see if we can get the initial Olingo4 integration into the 8.9 release. This will be entirely separate from the current odata logic and optional, but would ideally provide a preview of what will be available in 8.10. This will also give me more time to see if recursive common table expressions can make it into this release. In any event we should have CR1 ready by mid next week.
