Hi, just found that Guvnor 5.1 war file is now named as
drools-5.1.0-guvnor.war? This way users have to change the default url
to things like http://localhost:8080/drools-5.1.0-guvnor. Is this a
mistake or intended?

I think the naming is related to how maven assemblies
produce their
format, will need to double check. We might be able to remove the
"assembly" name from the file.

no I think it was more that OS-X finder would unzip the zip,
and then unzip the war, and you end up with a drools-guvnor
directory... confuses people.
Distributing it as a war makes sense.

Correction.The name convention we currently used in Drools is
<drools>-<version>-<moduleName>. Guvnor should follow the same
convention I believe, so it should be drools-5.1.0-guvnor.war (same as
it is called right now). Nothing needs to be changed in assembly, I will
update doc.

but we don't wnat that name to be part of the URL when people deploy it to
their container of choice - so either they need to remember to rename it, or
the context name needs to be set (not sure if you can do that in a standard
war?).

<drools>-<version>-<moduleName>. Guvnor should follow the same
convention I believe, so it should be drools-5.1.0-guvnor.war (same as
