I'm pretty new to work with Maven projects. I have followed the instructions on Eclipse Dev Environment Set Up for Teiid I have downloaded the source and imported the Maven projects (TEIID SRC 6.1) into Eclipse. I have generated source using pom.xml in TEIID-Engine module and made target/generated-sources/javacc as build path. Later I don't have a clue what to do. I have nuild the project and getting lot of build errors. Can some one help me build the TEID server project please? I want to build TEIID server and debug executing the VDB generated from TEIID Designer. Combining them is a great idea. Yes, we should leave the function definitions separate for now. Teiid 6.2 MS2

Hello all, I would like to get consensus on an M2 release soon (tonight possibly). For M2 all major enhancements should be finished and only targeted enhancements and defects should be worked for RC1. Any remaining major enhancements (TEIID-245 runtime costing update, TEIID-99 multisource procedure handling, and TEIID-669 pass through commands) would be rolled into 6.3. As with the previous releases, we will branch soon after RC1 to work only Designer integration issues. Any thoughts? Steve

Teiid 6.2 M2 and more

Hello all, 6.2 M2 status: There were a lot of changes over the weekend, there hasn't been much feedback on M1, and the pass-through feature has not been added (again not much feedback), so M2 will be delayed until 8/13. In the meantime let's keep assessing current 6.2 defects. 6.3 planning: Start capturing your thoughts (vote, send messages to the dev-list, etc.) for what is appropriate in the next release. This will again be targeted at a 12 week cycle. 7.0 planning: I am in favor of ending the 6.x line at 6.3 and start on major changes in a longer 7.0 cycle. This would also probably necessitate a 6.3.1 to address defects while 7.0 is still solidifying. As a start the current 6.x items will be rolled into the 7.x bucket and a 7.0 bucket will be created. Community direction will be essential for this release. Steve

Teiid 6.2 documents

I have been adding documents for Teiid in WIKI for last few days based on the features available in the upcoming release 6.2. Here are the links for these documents. I been writing them in long document only days, some may be incomplete, or not properly worded, however I will be reviewing them in next couple days and fix any issues.
