So I think we have to either switch to a permanent registry or do
some
kind of GC.
We already do this for certain roots.
See CombinedVFSCache and vfs.xml in AS/conf/bootstrap.
If someone doesn't want his entry to expire,
he could just add that (furthest) path to this permanent cache.
