JBAS-8734 and how to cope with spaces for deployments in AS 6.x

Hi,
We opened up JBAS-8734 a while back because it caused problems when jboss tools tells AS to scan directories with space in it.
The code works in AS 3 - 5, but not AS 6 possibly because of VFS 3 move.
We were wondering if there is a plan to fix JBAS-8734 or someway for us to avoid bumping into this bug so we can fix https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-7822 ?

Reporting config in JBoss Parent POM

The jboss-parent pom currently has a bunch of reporting configuration
which is used if a project generates a Maven site. I'm wondering how
often this is actually used since our projects normally do not use the
Maven site generation tools. So I'd like to remove the reporting
configuration from the parent pom, and then the few projects that actual
want to use the Maven site generation can just configure the reporting
in their project POMs.
Thoughts?

JBoss Java EE API sources moved to GIT

The JBoss Java EE APIs[1] that are used in our projects and products have been migrated from the
original SVN[2] locations to GIT[3]. The migration is completed[4]. Paul G and I are still discussing
merging the EJB, JACC, and Connector repository to one but otherwise the repositories
are ready to use if changes are needed.
