or Wednesday at most (28th) is due.
If you have pending updates/changes now is the time to rush. The most difficult bit at

point is the update to VFS libs along with all the cascading MC/deployer dependencies.

Note:
to Kabir, Adrian, Stale (the one's I know are working on some MC bits),
and any other that might consider committing some stuff to MC,
I'll be releasing MC 'cascade' tomorrow and Wednesday (if not yet done
tomorrow).
So, get the stuff in till tomorrow 11:59am CET. ;-)

This is definitely something I cannot resolve in a day.
It needs a proper discussion, with proper solution.
Otherwise it's just another vfs hack, and we might end up with 'Jar
plague 2',
an even stranger/scarier sequel to existing vfs+temp problems.

Obviously, we won't be releasing AS 5.0.1 this week due to the ongoing work on VFS.
Depending on the progress with VFS we'll try to release around Feb/6th, therefore the
new
freeze date is Feb/4th.
Nevertheless, please restrain yourselves from making significant changes to Branch_5_0.
Focus on bug fixes and preferably critical ones.
