David Lloyd just committed a patch to ExitOnShutdown to try to work
around this (thanks, David). It attempts to sweep the problem under the
rug so the testsuite can run. Said sweeping is OK, since there's a
critical JIRA highlighting the problem.

I looked at a successful run going back a month and the WARN in the
