Easier said than done. ;-)
I never had good experiance of Cygwin, hence I doubt it will work.
One issue with Cygwin (in case you try) is dealing with the Cygwin
subversion client which isn't compatible with the standalone (for
Windows subversion client).
Whatever you check out with the Cygwin subversion client, needs to be
checked in with the Cygwin subversion client. Of course, whatever you
check out with the standalone subversion client, needs to be checked in
with the standalone client.
That was the only issue that I had to work around when I used the Cygwin
subversion client.
And I'm changing OS as we speak,
but terrible UK weather prevents my new fancy hardware to be
shipped. :-)
So, more suggestions welcome.
Btw, what changed that prevents my releases,
as I had no problems (or very little) before.
