I have the same problem, I removed output to try but now I get:

httpunit.httpunit.classpath not found.

And the file ../thirdparty/testsuite-libraries.ent is missing in repos.
Any hints?

In the off chance this is helpful...
I was seeing the same thing this morning even after doing a full update.
Using build.bat. My testsuite/build.xml was different from the
repository (I'd commented out the execution of some tests), but the svn
update didn't indicate any conflict or merge. But, in desperation I
reverted the change and suddenly the build worked.

Indeed it seems to be a problem with build.sh
This works:
cd trunk
rm -rf thirdparty/*
ant -f build/build.xml clean main
This does not:
cd trunk
rm -rf thirdparty/*
build/build.sh clean main
Both use ant-1.6.5
Maybe some differences in in ant libraries?
