No, I'm sure that's not what he meant. He's talking adding a region qualifier to the entity caching, which AFAICT isn't done. I never heard about where to do it; I'm digging through the code now to see if I can figure it out. The prefix I'm using is [ear=xyx.ear,][jar=abc.jar,]unitName=unitName. So, prefix per persistence unit.

The [ear=xyx.ear,][jar=abc.jar,] bit is what's used to give uniqueness to EJBs as well.
